Funding Focus

Literacy

Brethren Community Foundation’s educational grants financially support education and literacy programs for low-income and “at risk” youth of all backgrounds, races and creeds nationally and globally. Scholarships are provided for individual students in need who show potential through hard work, determination and academic success from pre-school to university level instruction.

Senior Health

Senior health is a critical component to our mission and the Brethren Community Foundation supports senior citizen needs (Ages 65+) related to the health and longevity through a variety of organizations, including a strong emphasis on Alzheimer’s Disease research.

Global Investments

Through the power of partnership, the Brethren Community Foundation has been able to provide substantial educational and health support in east African for at-risk youth, women and seniors through FAME Africa, TCF, Global Partners for Development, and the BCF Fellowship Program.
