John Hornsby

John graduated from Radford University in Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in business management with a minor in geology. John has over 38 years of business experience. This experience has been with both public and private corporations. This experience has been in the building industry as well as in the manufacturing and distributing of products in the United States and abroad.

John is currently involved with two companies: MFI manufactures products that are distributed throughout the United States. He is an owner as well as a managing partner. John also is a partner and owner in Hornsby Properties, LLC. This company owns and manages real estate in San Diego, CA.

John serves on two nonprofit boards of directors. One is the Brethren Community Foundation, which was previously the Long Beach Brethren Manor. Service on this board has been since 2009. He is currently the President. The other is Southern California Housing Services, serving as a board member since 2002. John and his wife Debbie have two grown sons. They are active in their community and beyond. Some of the organizations they support are the Kiwanis, Radford University, FAME, The Boys and Girls Club, the YMCA, Steele Canyon High School, Humboldt State University, among others.

Harriet Harris

Harriet has been involved in philanthropic organizations for over 40 years. She has served on the Board of Prentice School for over 25 years and is now emeritus. Currently she serves on the leadership council at UCI MIND and is establishing a "Living Large Legacy" for vital, innovative research for Alzheimer's Disease. She has been a board member of the Bowers Museum, serving as president for several years.
